The Healthy Start Community Coalition of Okaloosa and Walton Counties is part of a state-wide system of coalitions, empowered on the local level, to provide services to pregnant women and their babies, based on the need and the resources of the community. The Healthy Start Coalition is a consortium of local care providers, businesses and consumers with a singular goal of healthy babies born to healthy mothers.

The Healthy Start Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by a volunteer board of directors.

June 15 at 9:30 - 11:30 am: Florida Healthy Babies Initiative – Please join the Walton County Health Department in addressing Infant Mortality and Substance Abuse in Walton County. This community meeting will speak to the Florida Healthy Babies Initiative.

June 16 at 4:30 pm: Car Seat Safety Class – Presented by Beyond Just Buckled. This class will be held in Fort Walton Beach at the Healthy Start Office – 133 Staff Drive Suite 1.

June 22 at 11:30 am: Board of Directors Meeting – The meeting will be held at Children in Crisis, 1000 Luke’s Way, FWB.
