Get Healthy Before You Get Pregnant

Healthy Start received a grant from the Florida Department of Health to implement a social marketing campaign to increase public awareness of the importance of preconception health behaviors that lead to healthy lifestyles in preparation for pregnancy.

This campaign consists of marketing in four media: cable television, radio, billboard and printed materials.

Healthy Baby Road Show

The Healthy Start Coalition, with help from the March of Dimes, is offering local hospital labor and delivery units and OB/GYN offices a lunch and learn opportunity to find out more about positive maternal and child health support available in our community.

Because of the fast pace and full schedule that is routine at hospitals and physician offices, Healthy Start will be taking the show on the road. Healthy Start will schedule one-hour sessions for breakfast, lunch or light dinner. Dates are available to schedule between March 2007 and March 2008.
